    Opportunity | Duty Description

    Job Summary

    The Regional Coordinator is responsible for leading project implementation at the regional level. They act as the primary liaison between the project and regional government structures, ensuring alignment with local priorities. The Regional Coordinator supervises District Team Leaders, monitors program performance, and provides technical and managerial support for effective service delivery.

    Key Duties and responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and oversight for project activities in the assigned region.
    • Supervise District Team Leaders and ensure district plans align with national strategies.
    • Engage with Regional Health Directorates and government stakeholders for coordination and collaboration.
    • Monitor program implementation and address gaps in performance.
    • Support regional-level data review and use of evidence for decision-making.
    • Ensure compliance with donor and organizational requirements at the regional level.
    • Facilitate regional learning and sharing forums among districts.
    • Prepare and submit regional performance reports to national leadership.

    Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • 8+ years of program management experience, including 3 years in supervisory roles.
    • Strong knowledge of HIV, OVC, and health systems in Namibia.
    • Experience working with regional and local government stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
    • Fluency in English and local languages of the region.
